Help the National Society of Black Engineers attend the National Convention

National Society of Black Engineers (2017)

National Society of Black EngineersThe national mission for NSBE is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community." Our chapter strives to enforce this mission by stimulating and developing student interests in various engineering disciplines and STEM majors alike.

Tobetter enforce our national mission, the National Society of Black Engineers University of Delaware Chapter will be attending the NSBE National Convention in Pittsburgh, PA in March 2018!

At the convention in Pittsburgh, all NSBE chapters nationwide collectively come together to participate in workshops, lectures, career fairs, networking events and many more. This is our opportunity each year to exchange ideas, advice and knowledge, and gain inspirations through one another. After attending this convention our members come back to UD with more effective ways to raise awareness of minorities in Engineering and other related STEM fields. The money we raise will go towards travel & hotel expenses to Pittsburgh.

Help us secure funding to travel to Pittsburgh, PA to raise awareness of NSBE!

A major contribution to our continuous growth and success as a chapter would be contributed to our attendance at the annual NSBE National Convention and Fall Regional Conference. Our chapter sponsors many beneficial events on and off campus such as College 101, Breast Cancer Walk, our Pre-College Initiative events and many more.
